At Covenant, we believe that a true and living faith is rightly and powerfully expressed through an enthusiastic and cohesive academic experience. Students delight in an examination of math, science, art, and the humanities as a single study of God and his creation. Further, we believe that an emerging worldview within a deepening faith helps to cultivate a love for Christ that serves the world.
In contrast to the ideas that so often dominate the current educational landscape (skepticism, utility, and subjective value), students discover the intrinsic value and connectedness of ideas; that rationalism, art, and virtue are real; that thinking, creating, and moral action are meaningful responses to life; and that God is the source of all reality.
Each year, our Covenant community comes together to nominate one teacher for the impact they make on our students. We call it the Teacher Heart of Covenant Award. Our 2020-21 winner was science teacher, Mrs. Kathleen Gainey. We are so thankful for her continued contributions.
