Covenant Fine Arts is excited to offer three weeks Theatre Camp this summer for students entering grades 2-8 in the fall of 2021. Our staff will work with students for fun-filled weeks of creating, learning & exploring.
Camp will be held from 9am-4pm daily at Covenant Christian High School and campers may choose one of three weeks:
- -June 14-18
- -July 5-9
- -July 19-23
Campers will work with Covenant Theatre adult staff and high school camp counselors to present performances of Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, JR. for camp families on the Friday evening of each week of camp.
The cost for each camper is $195 for the week ($185 if you register before May 1) and includes script, student listening CD, camp t-shirt, snacks, Friday dinner, and costume/makeup fee. (*Lunch is not provided.)
Camp will include:
- -Learning acting basics, stage direction, and choreography, including what makes a great audition.
- -Participating in theatre games.
- -Exploring and creating different aspects of theatrical production including hair and makeup, set design, costume design, backstage crew, and tech.
- -Performing together to present a production on Friday evening.
**Due to potential COVID restrictions, each week may house 35 campers. If COVID restrictions are lifted, the maximum number of campers will be increased to 50 for each week. A waiting list will be created based on registration and payment date.
